What to Expect

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, one of our ushers will welcome you and help you find a seat. We know that many people want to check out the church and "be anonymous" for awhile and that's fine with us! Come and enjoy the atmosphere to see if this is the church for you.

What do I wear to attend your services?

You'll find everything from business casual to business suits at our Worship Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Roanoke Church is not about what you look like or what you wear.

What is your worship service like?

Our Sabbath School classes begin at 9:30am with hymns followed by lively discussions regarding the lesson for the week. The Worship Service begins at 11:00am with teachings from the Bible that we trust will be relevant to your life, regardless of where you are in your faith journey.

Where can I find a copy of the weekly lesson?

A digital copy is available for download here. You may also find a copy on our mobile app available through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Simply search for "SDARM."

What about my children?

Sabbath School classes begin at 9:30am for children of all ages and parents are welcome to participate or join the adult class. Our ushers will direct you to the age appropriate classroom that will be fun, exciting, and educational. If you need help finding a class or would like additional information, please feel free to ask one of our ushers!
